This year’s theme is “Authors are the New Celebrity and Literature the New Entertainment.” –Heather Covington (CEO/ President of Disilgold).Disilgold.com remains at the forefront of bringing excitement and entertainment to the literary world each year with integral and quality exposure of today’s classic to rising literary stars admired, respected, supported on the fastest growing literary and multi-industry awards community online. Thus, the Literary Legends Ball Online was born to “scout, honor, induct, award, recognize and celebrate YOUnity Guild members of Excellence,” and today it’s the 1st and largest African-American Literary & Multi-Industry Awards Show online in history dubbed as The Literary Legends “Ball. Noted as a “Strong Indicator of Success,” members of the YOUnity Guild of America have gone on to astronomical success. The event itself provides a promotional vehicle of quality exposure for members and fun to partake in. Registration is now open for nomination in 1-250 YOUnity Guild literary and multi-industry award categories. Upon registering in an award membership level, you’ll be prompted to additionally select 1 bonus TOP 25 AWARD category of choice. This portion of the YGA’s is free for anyone to enter, and your choice for entry in a TOP 25 AWARD category isn’t guaranteed, but as an officially registered YOUnity Guild member your work will be considered with priority in a TOP 25 AWARD category by the Disilgold Top Advisory Review Board. The TOP 25 AWARD categories are voted upon by the people annually when voting polls open from December 1-December 31. All other awards are decided by the Disilgold Top Advisory Review Board. Q: How do I register for Disilgold SOUL Magazine’s 6th YOUnity Guild Awards 2009 Online?
Q: What is the deadline for registration in a TOP 25 Award category and how much does it cost?
A: Entrants have until September 1st to register for entry in a TOP 25 Award or may have friends, family, management, pr rep and/or one’s supporters nominate them for consideration in TOP 25 Award categories which are free to enter, but official registration is highly recommended to ensure priority placement and before categories fill. When you register for any membership level, your work is considered for priority placement as a nominee by the Disilgold Top Advisory Review Board. Non-registered candidates must rely on nominations from the community all year long which are considered toward final decisions. The Top 25 Awards are voted upon by the people and placement in a category of choice is not guaranteed. All other categories are decided by the Disilgold Top Advisory Review Board and entrants have officially until November 1, but since nominees are not listed for other categories, but rather e-ballot boxes for the community to also refer candidates, we have accepted entries up until December 1. Q: What do I get if nominated and when do nominees for the Top 25 Awards go live?
Upon winning a Top 25 Award, winners may return to same link to download winner’s emblem. All nominees and winners of Top 25 Awards are announced via the Disilgold e-PRESSRELEASEBLASTER. Winners of all other award categories may obtain a winners seal as well. However, Diamond Member full sponsorship ensures customization of a quality plaque which is mailed to winners.
Q: When are winners announced?
A: Winners in both TOP 25 Award categories decided by the people and all other YOUnity Guild Categories decided by the Disilgold Top Advisory Review Board go live on www.Disilgold.com on New Year’s Eve by 12 midnight and TOP 25 Award winners are additionally featured on www.HeatherCovington.net, the official DISILGOLD SOUL MAGAZINE VOTING POLL SITE. Votes are automatically and digitally tabulated. It only takes Disilgold minutes to load final winners. This year however, we are including photos with links to winners on Disilgold.com in 2009 whether winners are registered or not.
Q: What should I expect once I register?
A: Disilgold advises registrants to sit back, relax and enjoy the winners announced on New Year’s Eve, but it is important to gain nominations for TOP 25 AWARDS or e-ballot referrals for all other award categories whether registered or not.
